The task was simple: design a liquid packaging set. Naturally the first two ideas that popped into my head were beer, and the Chicago Cubs. My final design solution involves taking Cubs Hall of Famers and having them represent a different style of brew, with every little design aspect relating back to the Chicago and the Cubs.
The objective was to design a box set under that category of entertainment. I chose to redesign my three favorite Kanye West albums and find a design solution that unifies them. This is the solution I came to, using illustrations that represent the time period they were released, and color scheme to represent the albums.
The objective of this project was to design packaging for a clothing brand. I decided to take three of my favorite sitcom characters and use them as inspiration for the company, Sitcom Shirts. Each shirt color and type is iconic towards the person it represents. My final solution includes a simple icon design pattern and minimalist silhouette of each character.
During the summer of 2017, I was fortunate enough to intern at the Buffalo Wild Wings corporate office in Minneapolis. While I was there, I was able to work on a variety of different projects, but my biggest ones were working on gift cards and kid's activity books. Through multiple rounds of critiques, we landed on these as the final designs that will be printed and distributed to the restaurants nationwide.
