2020 Chicago Red Stars Kit

Brief: Design the 2020 away kit from scratch for the Chicago Red Stars

Solution: Similarly to the 2019 Red Stars kit that I designed, I wanted to keep their Chicago roots front and center. One aspect Chicagoans take more pride in than anything is their neighborhood, and that’s where the idea for the neighborhood kit came from. I then used all 77 Chicago neighborhood names to make up the stripes on the iconic city flag as a symbol of unity.

Results: The first order of the kit sold out the same night as the release, in spite of the pandemic.
